At First Baptist Hummingbird, we specialize in high-quality pre-kindergarten programs for children aged 2 to 5. We focus on social skills, self-help abilities and foundational learning in a nurturing environment, with play-based learning and early literacy tailored to each age group.
Our Classrooms
Three age groups, each building on the last.
Ages 2 to 3 — Confidence and first friendships
Self-help and social skills come first, in a safe room where play is the main way children learn.

Ages 3 to 4 — Independent learning begins
Children who have mastered the basics start choosing their own work stations and joining group learning.
- Art, writing, puzzles and iPads
- Songs, poems and fingerplays
- Pre-reading with sight words and names
Ages 4 to 5 — Ready for kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten program uses the Purposeful Design curriculum so graduates start school with confidence.
- Letters, numbers, colors and shapes
- Reading and writing skills
- Science, cooking, music and art
Monthly Tuition
Base price per student, per month. Choose your days per week.
Mornings Only — 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 5 days a week: $770 per month
- 4 days a week: $665 per month
- 3 days a week: $560 per month
- 2 days a week: $405 per month
Full Days — 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- 5 days a week: $1,100 per month
- 4 days a week: $950 per month
- 3 days a week: $800 per month
- 2 days a week: $580 per month
Registration, snacks and materials, diaper fees and any sibling discount are not included above. The calculator works out your family's exact monthly total.

Payment Schedule
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, and must be paid by the 10th to avoid late fees. We accept cash, check and Zelle.
Estimate Your Monthly Tuition
Pick a schedule for up to four children to see your family's monthly total, with snacks, materials, diaper fees and sibling savings included. You can print the estimate or email yourself a copy.
- Snacks and materials: $10 per child, per month
- Diaper fee: $50 a month at 5 days, $40 at 4 days, $30 at 3 days, $20 at 2 days
- Sibling discount: one credit per family, 25% off a Full Day place or 20% off a Mornings Only place
- Registration: $150 per child, once, at enrollment
- Annual re-registration: $75
